Context A full-stack workforce management platform I'm building toward a SaaS launch — combining time tracking, work verification, project costing, and payroll-related workflows for companies managing remote employees and freelancers.

My role Founder and lead developer — product design, full-stack architecture, and implementation, end to end.

What I built Separate Admin and Employee portals. Employees log time manually or use a Live Tracker built on the browser's Screen Capture API; admins review tracked sessions, approve or reject work, manage projects and rates, and handle invoices and payments.

Key challenge Continuous screen recording would have been too expensive to store. Instead, the Live Tracker captures screenshots at randomized 3–12 minute intervals, links them to a session ID shared between frontend and backend, and auto-deletes them once a session is approved — real verification without the storage cost.

Technologies Node.js, Express, vanilla JavaScript, Tailwind CSS, SQLite — no frontend framework.

Status Functional demo, in active development toward a SaaS launch. Not yet publicly available.
