Voice-over & Audio

A separate craft I've developed alongside medicine and development — voice-over work across advertising, formal events, education, and community projects.

2017 First attempt at voice-over — a small YouTube channel narrating simple scientific topics, recorded with a hands-free headset and an improvised sponge windscreen. A handful of videos, one passing 1,500 views, before I stopped.
December 2021 Returned to voice-over with the Alexandria Faculty of Medicine Scout team, recording narration for a video about the pyramids after colleagues noted my voice was distinctive.
2023 Completed professional voice-over training with طحالب Academy, earning a Voice-over Course Completion Certificate and a Certificate of Excellence — the start of a more professional voice-over path.
December 26, 2024 — First paid work My first paid voice-over project, and my first freelance work of any kind — discovered through رواة, a platform that selects strong performers from طحالب Academy's training pool.
Recurring collaboration Several projects (Seven Sanabil, IDEAL Promotional Voice-over, Saudi Bracelet Advertisement) came through a recurring partnership with a motion-graphics colleague — I record voice-over, he creates the motion graphics, and either of us may bring in the client.
Voice & AI Evaluation — Outlier Contributed to voice-focused AI evaluation and training work at an advanced project level. Project details are confidential.
